| The golden age of high-speed arcade racing in the past. The brightest representative of the genre was Mega Race, the brainchild of Cryo Interactive, created for the PC, Sega CD, and Panasonic 3DO (unfortunately, failed only the first part of the series). Other companies were not long in coming, and in the wake of the success of Mega Race quick release similar projects. Luck smiled on Hi-Octane, Wipeout and POD - game turned out decent. |
